Group-wide RecruitmentGroup-wide Recruitment

Sony Music Group recruits centrally for its various companies and departments.
Position assignments will be determined after the preliminary employment notice, taking into account the individual’s abilities as well as preferences.
Assignments may require relocation to one of our various offices in Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Individuals may choose from the following three application formats.

Please choose from one of the following application formats.

1.Submitting a Video Application
This format will require you to create your own video, of a theme that we specify.
2.Submitting a Written Recruitment Application
This format will require you to complete a written application to send via postal mail.
3.Performance
This format will require you to submit a proposal for a performance of a theme that we specify. Only proposals that pass the initial screening will be called back to actually perform. This application format may seem easy, but please note that we will be setting the selection standard quite high. This format may suit those who are confident in their abilities and individuality!

* Core office hours are 9:30 am to 6:15 pm (1 hour break for lunch)
Compensation

Annual Salary for the first year:
¥3,850,000 plus Achievement Bonus for Bachelor's and Master's Degree holders (First year average ¥4,150,000)
¥3,600,000 plus Achievement Bonus for Junior and Vocational College Graduates (First year average ¥3,900,000)

Achievement Bonus (Paid according to performance of employed group company)

Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), National Holidays, Year-end/New Year holidays (Total 130 days for 2019), Special calendar year based holidays

Annual paid leave (15 days for first year)

Eligibility

A
Individuals born after April 2, 1993.
B
Individuals expected to graduate by March 2020 from university (for bachelor's and master's degrees) and junior or vocational college (programs of two years or more); or Individuals who have already earned their degrees, but without any prior full-time employment (hourly/part-time employment is allowable).
